I have been drawing and painting whole my life, since I remember myself.
All my parents had to do to keep me quiet was giving me a sheet of paper and some coloured pencils.
I drew all the time and everywhere, including the walls of our apartment.
At the age of five, I have created a series of nudes. My Mother was in shock and my Father, who is an artist, said that my nudes have good and nice curves.

What does one need to be an artist? My Dad always said that if you want to create art all you have to do is create art And so I do.
I decided to stay away from influences as far as possible, so I did not go to any art school.
I hardly exhibit, I do not want to participate in the theatre of publicity, I don’t attend fancy artist/collector parties.
Experimenting and creating is what matters to me, that is why I am trying to stay away from the art world buzz and am working under pseudonym of Gina Vor.

All I want is for people to feel a connection with my art and if they do, I will gladly say farewell to my artwork travelling to a new home.

I like painting abstractions and am a fan of minimalism, because few lines and few brushstrokes can say a lot.
The best words to describe my art are: positive, ironic, petite, philosophical, expressive and energetic.

I live and create in Switzerland.
